1. About the competition
1.1 LAW FOR ALL is conducting a survey to better understand how its clients think about wills, final wishes and estate planning.
1.2 Eligible clients who complete and submit the survey during the competition period will automatically be entered into a draw to win a R2,000 Woolworths voucher.
1.3 These terms and conditions apply to the competition. By submitting the survey and entering the draw, participants agree to these terms.
2. Competition period
2.1 The competition opens on 23 July 2026 and closes on 29 September at 23:59 South African Standard Time.
2.2 Survey responses received after the closing date will not be entered into the draw.
2.3 The draw will take place on 30 September 2026.
3. Who may enter?
3.1 The competition is open to people who:
- are 18 years or older;
- live in South Africa; and
- are existing LAW FOR ALL clients when they enter.
3.2 Directors, members, employees, agents and consultants of LAW FOR ALL, as well as anyone involved in conducting the competition or supplying the prize, may not enter. Their spouses, life partners, business partners and immediate family members are also excluded.
3.3 LAW FOR ALL may ask the selected winner to provide reasonable proof of their identity and client status before awarding the prize.
4. How to enter
4.1 To enter, an eligible client must complete and submit the survey before the closing date.
4.2 Entry is automatic once a completed survey has been submitted. No separate competition entry is required.
4.3 Only one entry per client will be accepted.
4.4 There is no additional purchase or entry fee. Participants are responsible for any ordinary data charges imposed by their network or internet provider.
4.5 Incomplete, fraudulent, automated or manipulated entries may be disqualified.
5. The prize
5.1 One winner will receive a Woolworths voucher valued at R2,000.
5.2 The voucher is subject to any validity period and usage conditions issued with it by Woolworths.
5.3 The prize cannot be exchanged for cash through LAW FOR ALL, and the winner may not request a different prize.
5.4 Where the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside LAW FOR ALL’s reasonable control, LAW FOR ALL may replace it with a prize of an equal or greater value.
5.5 Unless expressly stated otherwise, Woolworths is not the promoter of this competition and is not responsible for its administration.
6. Selecting and contacting the winner
6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the competition period.
6.2 The winner will be contacted directly by telephone, email, SMS or WhatsApp, using the contact details recorded on LAW FOR ALL’s systems.
6.3 LAW FOR ALL will make at least three reasonable attempts to contact the winner over a period of five business days.
6.4 The selected winner may be required to confirm their identity, eligibility and contact details. The winner’s identity number may be collected where required for verification and competition record-keeping.
6.5 Where the selected winner:
- cannot be contacted within five business days;
- does not meet the eligibility requirements;
- provided false or misleading information;
- declines the prize; or
- cannot lawfully receive the prize,
LAW FOR ALL may conduct another random draw to select a replacement winner.
6.6 The prize will be delivered electronically to the verified winner within 10 business days after the winner has been confirmed, unless a different delivery arrangement is agreed.
7. Publicity
7.1 The winner is not required to have their name, photograph or image published, participate in marketing or attend any announcement or event.
7.2 LAW FOR ALL may invite the winner to participate in publicity, but the winner may decline without losing the prize.
7.3 The winner’s information will not be published or used for marketing without separate permission.
8. Personal information and privacy
8.1 LIPCO Group (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information processed in connection with the survey and competition.
8.2 Participation in the survey and competition is voluntary. However, LAW FOR ALL needs enough information to verify eligibility, administer the draw, contact the winner and deliver the prize. A person who does not provide the necessary information cannot be entered or awarded the prize.
8.3 Depending on the survey and entry process, LAW FOR ALL may process:
- the participant’s name and contact details;
- LAW FOR ALL client or policy information needed to confirm eligibility;
- survey responses;
- entry date and technical submission information; and
- the selected winner’s identity and prize-delivery information.
8.4 This information may be used to:
- administer the survey and competition;
- confirm that participants are eligible;
- select, verify and contact the winner;
- deliver the prize;
- prevent fraud or duplicate entries;
- comply with competition record-keeping and other legal requirements; and
- analyse clients’ views and experiences to improve LAW FOR ALL’s estate-planning information, products and services.
8.5 Survey findings may be used or published in aggregated or de-identified form. LAW FOR ALL will not publish an identifiable participant’s individual survey answers without permission.
8.6 Personal information may be shared with authorised LAW FOR ALL employees and service providers that assist with the survey, technology, draw, legal oversight or prize delivery. It may also be disclosed to a regulator or other authority where required by law.
8.7 Where an authorised service provider processes information outside South Africa, LAW FOR ALL will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information is protected in accordance with POPIA.
8.8 Competition records will be retained for at least three years where required by the Consumer Protection Act regulations. Other identifiable information will not be kept longer than reasonably necessary, unless a longer period is required by law or justified under POPIA. De-identified information may be retained for statistical or research purposes.
8.9 Participants may request access to or correction of their personal information and may object to its processing or request deletion where permitted by law. Requests may be sent to info@lawforall.co.za
8.10 Entering the competition does not, by itself, give LAW FOR ALL permission to send the participant direct marketing. Any marketing consent must be obtained separately, and existing communication preferences remain unchanged.

8.12 A participant who believes their personal information has been processed unlawfully may first contact LAW FOR ALL’s Information Officer at williev@lawforall.co.za They may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za or contact the Regulator on 010 023 5200 or 0800 017 160.
9. Changes or cancellation
9.1 LAW FOR ALL may amend, suspend or cancel the competition where this is reasonably necessary because of fraud, technical failure, legal requirements or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
9.2 Any material change will be communicated through the same channel used to promote the competition or on the LAW FOR ALL website.
9.3 No change will unfairly remove a participant’s rights that have already vested under the Consumer Protection Act.
10. Responsibility and disputes
10.1 LAW FOR ALL is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received because of network, device or platform problems outside its reasonable control.
10.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or liability that may not lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
